These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the POURED platform ("Platform"), operated by POURED Events ("POURED", "we", "us", "our"), accessible at pouredevents.com and app.pouredevents.com. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
POURED is a technology platform that connects beverage trade event organizers ("Event Hosts"), wine and spirit agents and producers ("Agents"), and trade buyers and consumers ("Attendees"). POURED provides tools for event creation, ticketing, portfolio showcasing, product browsing, and order facilitation.
POURED is a marketplace facilitator, not a party to any beverage transaction. All wine and spirit purchases, deliveries, payments for products, and related obligations are conducted directly between the Agent and the Attendee. POURED does not sell, distribute, warehouse, or deliver any alcoholic beverages.
You must create an account to use the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You may use the Platform as an Event Host, Agent, or Attendee. You may hold multiple roles. POURED reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms.
Event Hosts create and manage beverage trade events on the Platform. By publishing an event, you represent and warrant that:
Event Hosts set ticket prices and agent listing fees. POURED deducts applicable service fees before remitting payouts. Payouts are processed within 7 business days following the event.
Agents upload their product portfolios and participate in events to receive orders from Attendees. By using the Platform as an Agent, you represent and warrant that:
POURED provides buyer contact information to Agents through the order unlock system. The unlock fee grants access to the buyer's name, email, phone number, and order details. This information is provided solely for the purpose of fulfilling the specific order and must not be used for unsolicited marketing, sold to third parties, or retained beyond the scope of the transaction.
Attendees purchase tickets to events, browse wine portfolios, and place orders through the Platform. By placing an order, you acknowledge that:
POURED charges the following fees for use of the Platform:
All fees are subject to applicable taxes (including HST). POURED reserves the right to modify fee structures with 30 days' notice to affected users.
All payments on the Platform are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). By using the Platform, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. POURED does not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment information. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
Ticket refunds: Ticket refund policies are set by the Event Host. POURED's ticket service fee is non-refundable. Refund requests should be directed to the Event Host.
Order unlock fees: Non-refundable once buyer contact details have been revealed to the Agent.
Order processing fees: Non-refundable once the order has been submitted.
Event cancellations: If an Event Host cancels an event, POURED will facilitate ticket refunds (less the service fee) within 14 business days. Agent listing fees are refunded by the Event Host.
The Platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of POURED Events. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.
Users retain ownership of content they upload (product descriptions, images, tasting notes). By uploading content, you grant POURED a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.
POURED is a technology platform that facilitates connections between event participants. POURED is not responsible for:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, POURED's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount of fees you have paid to POURED in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless POURED Events, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
POURED may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario, located in Toronto.
