POURED Events ("POURED", "we", "us", "our") operates the POURED platform at pouredevents.com and app.pouredevents.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and company or restaurant name (if provided). Event Hosts and Agents may also provide business-related details such as organization name and role.
Event and order data: We collect information related to your activity on the Platform, including events created or attended, tickets purchased, products browsed, tasting notes, saved wines, and orders placed.
Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive financial information on our servers. Stripe processes and stores this information in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Device and usage data: We collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and pages visited. This data is collected automatically and is used to improve the Platform's performance and security.

Order unlocks: When an Agent unlocks an order, the Attendee's name, email, phone number, and company are shared with that Agent for the sole purpose of fulfilling the specific order. Agents are prohibited from using this information for unsolicited marketing or sharing it with third parties.
Event Hosts: Event Hosts can view attendee check-in status and aggregate event statistics. Hosts do not receive Attendee contact information unless the Attendee places an order with an Agent at their event.
Service providers: We share information with third-party service providers who assist in operating the Platform:

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of POURED, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes.
Transaction records (orders, payments, fee receipts) are retained for 7 years in accordance with Canadian tax requirements.

The Platform uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We do not serve ads on the Platform.
The Platform is not intended for individuals under the legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
Your information is stored and processed in Canada and the United States (through our service providers). By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
